My recent trip to New Zealand was the most wonderful artistic experience. New Zealand is a unique and beautiful country where the light falling on the landscape is just made to paint. The greens and blues just punch out of the landscape and into the artists palette. I took many photographs for reference and have started painting in impressionist style. This acrylic on canvas painting of the flowers, forests, hillsides and mountains of the South island has gone back to New Zealand for one customer.
